Sports cars of today are getting faster and more advanced compared to previous models.  Not only are these vehicles packing more horsepower, but improved fuel efficiency. An example is the 2012 Ford Mustang whose V6 model has 305 horsepower while boasting 31 highway mpg.

Luxury brands such as Audi, Lexus, Mercedes and other auto makers are developing super sports cars that could race in Le Mans let alone drive you to work every day. With all this technology, many sports cars are still lacking proper cushioning to provide comfort and protection from the elements.

The MitiGator developed by Sea Systems Group is designed to absorb impact vibrations from external events reducing whole body impact by as much as 60%.  A number of sports cars such as the Chevy Corvette are built low to the ground. This is done in order to reduce drag while achieving maximum aero-dynamic efficiency.

The downside with this is the driver will feel almost every bump and pothole on the road. This may not be a big deal when you’re on the track. For everyday use however, it’s not only impractical, but uncomfortable to the where the occupant can get lower back pain.

The MitiGator cushioning system can reduce lower back pain while preserving a comfortable ride even at high speeds. Currently Seas Group is testing the MitiGator for stock car seats and is already used by John Gibson and Gibson racing in the Arca Racing Series.  If you have any questions or would like to place an order please click on the media link below.

The MitiGator™ Technology is an engineered cushioning system designed to protect people and equipment from these assaults and to allow them to continue to perform their jobs or enjoy their leisure time. The MitiGator™ uses patented air control technology working with over 4,000 surfaces per square foot to dissipate energy before it is transmitted to the body and thus help alleviate the problems.
