MitiGatorinc.com to do live webcast from South Boston Speedway this Saturday at 2:00pm

MitiGatorinc.com to do a live webcast from South Boston Speedway this Saturday

This past season can easily be described as a rollercoaster ride for the MitiGator Ford Fusion. The season started out strong with a third place finish at Gresham Motorsports Park and then a second place finish at New Smyrna Speedway. Throughout the rest of the season it would encounter some bad luck but also tack on a 4th place finish and a 6th place run.

The Gibson Motorsports team will return to South Boston Speedway this coming weekend and look to pick up where it left off in June. The MitiGator Ford was running in 2nd place when transmission troubles knocked it out of the event. The season finale will kick off Saturday November 6th at 2:00. We will be doing another live webcast from atop of the Gibson Motorsports pit box. We will be featuring live team audio communications from the Gibson Motorsports crew! Make sure you tune in, but if your going to be in the area come out to South Boston Speedway and watch the MitiGator Ford try to bring home the checkered flag.

MitiGator Ford Fusion looks to get back to early season success with a good run at Legendary North Wilkesboro Speedway

The MitiGator Ford will be displaying its commemorative paint scheme at the North Wilkesboro Speedway

The MitiGator Ford Fusion had a dissapointing run at Bristol Motor Speedway on September 11th. It was pretty disappointing as the car was only able to finish 40 laps due to a blown head gasket. However, repairs have been made and a lot of hard work has gone into the car. The next race is one that the entire Gibson Motorsports team has been looking forward to for some time. It will be the first race back at the legendary North Wilkesboro Speedway. The race is this Sunday October 3rd, the brushy mountain 250 will be the first time there has been racing in October at North Wilkesboro since the track closed its doors back in 1996. This is extremely special to me as I can’t wait to race at the track, I was there in 1996 sitting on the front stretch when the last Cup race was held at the 3/4mile speedway.

So come out and watch the MitiGator Ford Fusion, we are still trying to verify if the speedway is going to have wi-fi. But if we get the thumbs up we will be doing a live webcast from the pits. Check our Twitter feed for updates. And we’ll see you at North Wilkesboro!

Bad luck continues as a blown head gasket sidelines the MitiGator Ford Fusion at Bristol Motor Speedway

A blown head gasket sidelined the MitiGator Ford at Bristol

Well we thought that the bad luck had left the MitiGator Ford Fusion after a 6th place run 2 weeks ago at Concord Speedway, but unfortunately we were wrong. When the MitiGator Ford Fusion unloaded this past weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway, the team had high hopes as not only were they unloading a new sept 11 commemorative paint scheme, but the team felt like they had a really good chance at winning. However a blown head gasket during practice would force the team to start the race but have to pull in after a few laps.

It was extremely disappointing, but we still were able to get a live webcast up and running and we had a bunch of fans on the broadcast. Up next this week is the MitiGator Powerboat as it will compete at Atlantic city this weekend. We are going to get some on-board video from the event! Also this week we are testing our new MitiGator Equipped ATV seat and are also going to get some video to show the results. Make sure you subscribe to our youtube stream and check back next week to see the results!

MitiGatorinc.com next webcast to be broadcast from the USAR Pro Cup championship series opener at Concord Speedway on August 28th

The next live webcast will be from the famed Concord Speedway on August 28th.

During our last broadcast from the Iowa 150 we had over 500 viewers log on to watch the MitiGator Ford Fusion from the pits of Gibson Motorsports. Unfortunately the race didn’t end the way we were hoping it would. So we’ve decided to do another webcast from the pits again at the 1/2 mile Concord Speedway on August 28th. Our hope this time is to break the 1,000 viewer mark!

Just like our last webcast you will be able to listen in during the event to live radio communication between the Gibson Motorsports crew. This was a feature that we added for the first time during the Iowa event. The radio communication is crystal clear over the webcast. If you didn’t tune in for the Iowa broadcast, you don’t know what your missing!

The MitiGator Ford Fusion finished 6th at last years Concord event and looks to get away from this bad luck that has been plaguing the last 3 races. So tune in around 7PM on August 28th to watch and listen to the MitiGator Ford rocket around the extremely fast half-mile speedway.
