The New iPhone 5… I mean iPhone 4s

Yesterday the Apple universe was anticipating the much awaited iPhone 5 that was supposed to bring down the heavens and do your taxes all at the same time-instead, we got the iPhone 4s. Looking at the 4s, you’ll notice that it’s almost identical to the iPhone 4. So if you were looking for a wider screen and thinner frame, you’ll be disappointed.

What makes the iPhone 4s standout is its voice activated personal assistant Siri, which allows you to set up your daily calender, alarm, search for movie times, and other queries all through voice commands.

Seems impressive, however the Siri app is already available for the iPhone 4, so this is nothing we haven’t already seen before. Other subtle changes are its faster processor that is not noticeable  to the naked eye compared to the iPhone 4. Surely the iPhone 4s will make impressive sales numbers, but there was a wow factor missing when the phone was introduced yesterday.

The magic that was around previous phones just wasn’t there. Maybe it’s the absence of Steve Jobs, perhaps it’s just that the phone didn’t break any barriers like older phones.  Looks like we’ll have to wait a little bit longer for the iPhone 5.

Today Apple is planning on unveiling the new iPhone 5 after a 15 month delay.  There has been much excitement about what features the new iPhone will have. A faster processor, higher resolution screen, and lighter frame are just some of the many new features the iPhone will possess.

But with the launch of the iPhone 5 comes new accessories, one of the more popular accessories being phone cases.

The MitiGator Cushioning System developed by Sea Systems Group can add an extra layer of protection to any phone case since it’s light weight and can absorb intense impacts, such as a phone being dropped on the floor.  It’s projected that the iPhone 5 will break record sales figures from previous iPhones. The iPhone 5 is slated to come out October 14th.

Good Ole American Muscle

Ford Mustang GT & Chevrolet Camaro SS

Muscles cars are back! Not that they have ever gone anywhere, but muscle cars have made a resurgence in the consumer’s diet for fast cars on the cheap. The Ford Mustang, Chevy Camaro, and Dodge Challenger are bringing back a retro look that is leading to huge sales- in 2010, Mustang sales went up 71.1%  compared to 2009 sales figures.

Both the Camaro and Mustang have made the Consumer Reports recommended buy lists putting them amongst the top 20 best selling cars in America. The Challenger, Mustang, Camaro trio are constantly tested against one another by the major car publications like Motor Trend, trying to determine which car burns the most rubber.

To put it simply, muscle cars are fun, exciting, and affordable to anybody willing to shell the bucks for a little good old fashion American power. The issue with muscle cars is the ride. The suspension and frame on some of the pony cars can give you a rough ride if you didn’t blow the big bucks on the higher end model with better suspension.

If you’re a larger individual, driving a pony car can kill your back, making it an uncomfortable ride- taking away from the muscle car experience.  Equipping the seat’s of muscle cars with the MitiGator Cushioning System can make up for the discomfort that many of us feel when driving a muscle car. The material can absorb impacts from typical vibrations that occur when driving. This can give ample support to the lower back, reducing the risk of back pain and other injuries. Children And Sport Injuries

Millions of children participate in some sort of organized sport or physical activity every year. Sports related injuries have become common as child athletes push their bodies to the limit where their practice regiment may actually be counter-productive in achieving optimal health. According to the National Center For Sports Safety:

  • Injuries associated with participation in sports and recreational activities account for 21 percent of all traumatic brain injuries among children in the U.S.
  •  Most organized sports related injuries(62 percent) occur during practices rather than games.
  • More than 3.5 million children ages 14 and under receive medical treatment for sports injuries each year

Sports like baseball, basketball, and football are competitive by its nature requiring players at all ages to train intensively in order to compete at a high level. Injuries occur either because the training is not efficient in preparing athletes for the game itself, or, the equipment being used is not adequate in reducing the risk of injury. Sea Systems Group developed the Gator X consumer line of products because we feel that the sports equipment used today can be drastically improved if used with the MitiGator Cushioning System.  Reducing injury while providing comfort is the perfect combination that describes the MitiGator, which can be used in various sport equipment: baseball helmets, football helmets, batting gloves, hockey pads, etc. If you’re a coach or player and you have questions or feedback regarding the MitiGator, please click on the media link below.

Advancements in technology have made our lives significantly easier by making every day choirs a simple push of a button-iPads, smartphones, hybrid vehicles and other technologies  have changed the way we work, play, travel and communicate. But can technology make us safer?

When we use technology we always focus on how efficient it can make our lives rather than determining if a specific product can protect us from the dangers of everyday life. An iPhone is great if you want to send an email or surf the web, but does little else in keeping us safe except for the ability to call 911.

The MitiGator developed by Sea Systems Group is a technology that provides comfort and protection to those who use the MitiGator in one of its various applications. The MitiGator can be used in a number of ways such as in: sports helmets, gloves, boat & car seats,  computer equipment, as well as other applications that provide both efficiency and protection, a combination that is not found in many new technologies developed today.

MitiGator’s purpose is to protect you from severe vibrations by absorbing impacts from an external event while providing comfort and versatility since it’s light weight, durable, and long lasting.  Technology continues to break new ground in today’s constantly changing world, making the MitiGator the ideal material to meet the demands of global technological needs.
