About Sea Systems

SEA Systems Group, Inc. (SEAS) was established in 1995 and is located in the scenic lake town of Clarksville, VA. SEAS is dedicated to serving defense and commercial markets globally with unique survival / egress products and services enhanced by a superior cushioning system for vehicles operating in hard or repeated impact air, land, or water environments. SEAS survival products, developed and manufactured from advanced, proprietary technology, are unmatched for cost-efficiency and their sheer ability to save lives and prevent injuries.

Selection of this technology for a SBIR contract by the Navy guarantees that The MitiGatorâ„¢ is an innovative and unique product as about 93% of the submitted proposals do not make it through to the Phase I contract. Of those funded for a Phase I, about 60% of those do not make it to the Navy Phase II program. In 2002, SEAS completed the prestigious Navy Commercialization Assistance Program, being one of only 125 or so companies to do so at that time, out of several thousand Navy SBIR programs sponsored since 1983. With so much competition behind SEAS, you can rest assured that The MitiGatorâ„¢ can help solve your impact and shock problems with minimal technological risk.

During 2003-2004 SEAS did consolidate some of its operations in the Clarksville area. Currently SEAS uses facilities in Virginia, Ohio and North Carolina. Material suppliers range from coast to coast in the United States. All of our products are manufactured in The United States of America.

SEAS is a women owned and controlled, HubZone certified, small business corporation. Because The MitiGatorâ„¢ is extremely innovative and was developed under a Navy SBIR Phase I-III contract, it is also available to federal government agencies on a sole source basis. To facilitate federal government procurement, a NAVAIR ID/IQ contract is available to speed up and reduce costs to agencies that wish to use the technology on another platform. Please contact us for further information.

In the first quarter of 2004, SEAS received an Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity contract in place with NAVAIRSYSCOM. With this in place, SEAS has a contract that can receive delivery orders from multiple sponsors. A delivery order can be executed in about two weeks. The cost of negotiating a new contract would be more expensive than executing one of our delivery orders. The contract can accept delivery orders that are firm-fix, cost-plus or time & materials. SEAS will be glad to share the generic statement-of-work with 8 tasks associated with this contract. If your needs fall into any of the tasks, then we accommodate your requirements AND in a short amount of time.

We also accept most major credit cards, including Master Card and VISA.
