The MitiGator offshore powerboat will be at St. Claire Michigan on July 23-25th. Come by and check out the MitiGator equipped seats in the Off-shore Powerboat!
I received an email this past weekend from the MitiGator Off Shore Powerboat’s driver Warren Miller this past weekend with some disappointing news. The team is preparing for what is turning out to be one of the biggest events of the year. This coming weekend at St. Claire Michigan the MitiGator Off-shore powerboat will take to the choppy water at its only freshwater event.
Warren had made all of the repairs to the boat since the race at Florida sidelined the team with some damage. The team took the boat out on the water this past week to ensure that everything was fixed. During testing, the engine broke a roller and “trashed the motor” according to warren. Luckily one of the areas that they addressed this off-season was the addition of a spare motor for cases like this. The spare is in the boat and the team is again testing before the race on July 25th. The next 2 weekends will be spent in Michigan, so if your going to be in the area come by and check out the Mitigator equipped off-shore powerboat this sunday. The race will not disappoint!
This race Warren will actually be taking time away from the driver’s seat and will be acting as a throttle-man. The course at St. Claire has right hand turns instead of left, So warren is substituting a new driver and is going to try to take home the checkered flag for the MitiGator Off-shore Powerboat!
Well summer has been here for a few weeks now, and it already looks like it is going to be a scorcher out here in North Carolina. We’ve been really busy at MitiGatorinc.com, we are always looking for ways that we can institute the MitiGator cushioning system into products that desperately need it. July has already proved to be a busy but rather productive month for us as we have opened our new R&D building in Tampa Florida. One of the first things we are going to be doing is outfitting ATV seats with MitiGator, and then we are going to do some testing to document the results. These are the same ATV’s that I wrote on last weeks blog update. This past weekend we shot some video showing how little support the seats on a typical ATV/4 wheelers have. We will be uploading this video to our youtube stream here shortly.
The MitiGator Offshore boat will be in Michigan for two weekends of racing
July is also busy for our two racing teams, The MitiGator off shore power boat team will have back to back weekends of racing in the state of Michigan starting this coming weekend on July 18th when they look to take home the checkered flag at Harrison Township. The following weekend, July 25th they will be battling for the win at St. Claire Michigan. The MitiGator Offshore Power Boat has been the boat to beat at the first two events, so if your going to be in the area come on by and check out the MitiGator equipped seats in the boat. Who knows maybe Driver Warren Miller will let you sit in cockpit and checkout just how comfortable it can be.
The MitiGator Ford Fusion will be on hand at the Iowa Speedway where you'll be able to tune in and watch our webcast from the Gibson Motorsports pits, and listen to On-board radio communications
The MitiGator Ford Fusion will also be invading the midwest on July 30th when the car will be on hand at the extremely fast Iowa Speedway. We currently are sitting 5th in points and are looking forward to the track where speeds will reach close to 160mph. We will be doing a live webcast from the track and you will be able to listen to on-board radio communication between driver, spotter, crew chief and crew at the 3/4 high speed oval. This is a race that we have had circled on our calendar for quite sometime and our plan is to make the trek and win the thing infront of the capacity crowd that will be on hand.
You can see we’ve got a lot going on so make sure you keep checking back as we will be updating this page along with our Twitter and Facebook pages with the latest news and amazing videos from the month of July.
The MitiGator Ford Fusion will be on hand at the legendary South Boston Speedway on June 12th
This coming weekend of June 12 and 13th will be a busy one as MitiGatorinc.com will be doing two live webcasts from the tracks at South Boston Speedway in South Boston, VA and then from the beach at Sunny Isles Florida.
The racing action will kick off on June 12th at South Boston Speedway for the Strutmasters 250. The MitiGator Ford Fusion will role into the famous short track 3rd in points. The MitiGator ford has failed to finish outside of the top ten this year, and has finished every lap but one this season. The webcast will kick off from the Gibson Motorsports pit area around 6pm. Make sure you tune in to see the MitiGator ford tackle this legendary short track.
The MitiGator offshore powerboat will be doing a live webcast from Sunny Isles florida on June 13th
Then on Sunday June 13th the MitiGator Offshore Powerboat will attempt to make it 2 for 2 this year as they will be racing from Sunny Isles beach, Florida. Driver Warren Miller and new Throttle-man Al Colbertson took home the checkered flag at the first event of the year at the packed beaches of Ocean City Maryland and will look to sweep the first 2 events of the season. Tune in around 11 am to watch these boats attack the beaches from Sunny Isles florida.
Then also don’t forget to check out our youtube page next week for all the amazing videos from these 2 events.
Whatever your addiction is: motorsports, boating, motocross, mountain biking,… The list could go on. The first priority of any of these has to be to make the ride/experience as safe as possible. That is the purpose behind Mitigatorinc.com, to show you a new safety innovation that can make your addiction safer.
A lot of times we just associate the pains that come from whatever we are riding/driving as pains that you must experience because of the ride. This was the case last year before I had the chance to experience sitting in a MitiGator equipped seat in our USAR Pro Cup car. After every race I would always have lower back pain and would hardly be able to stand up after a race because of my back. But when I got to try the MitiGator Equipped seat for the first time the results were phenomenal. At first I couldn’t tell a whole lot of difference between sitting on just foam, compared to sitting on the MitiGator. But as soon as the race was over, I noticed that my back wasn’t sore. Infact, I felt like I could run another 250 laps. In fact I look at it as an advantage over the competition. When the track is beating them up, I have something that will absorb the impacts and vibrations so my body doesn’t have to.
MitiGator Equipped seats in the Mitigator Offshore Powerboat
The point of the MitiGator is to absorb impacts and vibrations, and dissipate the energy from them over the mitigator instead of being transmitted through your body. So don’t simply accept that the pain you experience is something that can’t be eliminated. Send me an email, John@MitiGatorinc.com and we’ll see what we can come up with to make your addiction that much safer and more comfortable. This month alone we have prototyped MitiGator equipped MotoCross gloves, MotoCross boots, Stock Car gloves, Boating Seats, PWC Gloves, Mountain bike seats, and Motorcycle seats, just to name a few. Keep checking back to this blog to see the latest applications and innovations from MitiGatorinc.com

Sea Systems Group sponsors Team MitiGator Racing and is the manufacturer of MitiGator™ products. The MitiGator™ Technology is an engineered cushioning system designed to protect people from hi-speed, hi-impact assaults and to allow them to continue to perform their jobs or enjoy their leisure time. The MitiGator™ uses patented air control technology working with 4,044 surfaces per square foot to dissipate energy before it is transmitted to the body and thus help alleviate problems. The shock and vibration dampening features of the MitiGator give a competitive edge by the end of a long race. These forces, when transmitted to drivers, can impair their comfort, performance, and visual acuity and in extreme cases, even the ability to control the vehicle. Whole body vibration in the range of 4 Hz vertical and 1-2 Hz side to side can create loss of control for vehicle operators. This is a resonant frequency (the range of motion is increased rhythmically with this frequency) and operators can be literally unable to control the vehicle. Find out more at our new MitiGator website at www.MitiGatorinc.com.
The SEAS parking lot is directly behind the Wachovia Bank on Virginia Ave. in Clarksville, VA. Please come down and meet the Team MitiGator™ drivers.
