Home appliances and furniture can make one’s life more comfortable while adding style to your home. Stainless steel appliances have grown in popularity because of the crisp, clean look that it gives a kitchen.

As far as furniture like sofas, coffee tables, and other home decor, the right furniture can display the homeowners tastes and vision in either the modern or classical sense.  What many homeowners don’t think about when they purchase or move their furniture and appliances are the rubber stoppers that are underneath the feet of most major appliances.

These pieces of rubber are placed on the feet of furniture to prevent damaging the floor the furniture or appliance is placed on. Overtime, these pieces of rubber eventually wear down or fall off leaving scratches or scoffs on almost any floor when moving the furniture.

The MitiGator Cushioning System developed by Sea Systems Group is a lightweight material designed to absorb impacts from external events. The benefit of using the mitigator on the feet of major appliances is its lifespan, that can equal or surpass the life of the appliance. The material is also highly durable, protecting your floor as well your furniture. If you have any questions or would like to place an order, please click on media link below.

Colorado Rockies Pitcher Juan Nicasio Hit in Head

Over the weekend Colorado Rockies rookie pitcher Juan Nicasio was hit in the head with a line drive during a game against the Washington Nationals. The 24 year old pitcher was hospitalized after suffering  a C1 vertebrae fracture.

The incident is a grim example of how dangerous baseball can be.  Fans don’t realize the risk players take when they go out on the field every single game. This isn’t the first or last time a player will get hit with a line drive or fastball. It’s just the nature of the game. This incident should serve as a reminder of why it’s important to use quality equipment and cushioning systems to protect players not just in baseball but in other sports.

In Mr. Nicasio’s case it would have been difficult for any sort of equipment to have protected him since pitchers don’t wear helmets. That could change after Friday’s accident.  Using the MitiGator cushioning system on baseball equipment such as helmets would reduce the chance of a player receiving a serious injury like the one Juan Nicasio received Friday. Hitter’s are also exposed to the dangers of balls coming at them at 90 plus miles an hour.

A hit to the head can lead to serious injury, making it essential that the helmet absorb most of the impact protecting the player’s head in the process. Seas Group hopes that Mr. Micasio makes a speedy recover and that he may be back on the field in the not so distant future.

New 1001 MitiGator Uses Video: Batting Gloves

Here is our new video for 1001 MitiGator Uses! In this video I’m demonstrating how the MitiGator can be applied to batting gloves and baseball bats. You’ll notice I’m taking some swings at a local batting cage. I forgot to bring my helmet so I had the use an in-house helmet which had a face guard on it. It made it a little difficult to see the ball but I was able to get some solid contact while using the MitiGator! Visit our YouTube channel 1001 MitiGator Uses to watch all of our videos demonstrating the MitiGator.

The MitiGator In the Fast Lane

Corvette C6

Sports cars of today are getting faster and more advanced compared to previous models.  Not only are these vehicles packing more horsepower, but improved fuel efficiency. An example is the 2012 Ford Mustang whose V6 model has 305 horsepower while boasting 31 highway mpg.

Luxury brands such as Audi, Lexus, Mercedes and other auto makers are developing super sports cars that could race in Le Mans let alone drive you to work every day. With all this technology, many sports cars are still lacking proper cushioning to provide comfort and protection from the elements.

The MitiGator developed by Sea Systems Group is designed to absorb impact vibrations from external events reducing whole body impact by as much as 60%.  A number of sports cars such as the Chevy Corvette are built low to the ground. This is done in order to reduce drag while achieving maximum aero-dynamic efficiency.

The downside with this is the driver will feel almost every bump and pothole on the road. This may not be a big deal when you’re on the track. For everyday use however, it’s not only impractical, but uncomfortable to the where the occupant can get lower back pain.

The MitiGator cushioning system can reduce lower back pain while preserving a comfortable ride even at high speeds. Currently Seas Group is testing the MitiGator for stock car seats and is already used by John Gibson and Gibson racing in the Arca Racing Series.  If you have any questions or would like to place an order please click on the media link below.
