MitiGatorinc.com To Present The Latest In Shock MitiGation During The MACC: June 14 – 16

On June 14-16 MitiGatorinc.com will be on hand at the Multi-Agency Craft Conference (MACC). During the conference on June 14th MitiGatorinc.com will be presenting at the Medal of Honor room at 2pm. Exhibitors and event attendees will be presented with the latest in shock mitigation: The MitiGator Cushioning System! Attendees of the conference will be shown how the MitiGator is designed to absorb and dissipate the energy from impacts and vibrations.

The primary focus of the MACC is the dialog between the Department of Defense and other government agencies on common issues unique to boats and craft in their service. The types of craft discussed range from Army & Navy service craft to Navy and Coast Guard patrol boats to Naval Special Warfare and Marine Corps combatant craft. Craft types include RIB’s, patrol and insertion craft, landing craft, utility craft and special purpose craft.

MitiGatorinc.com will have a busy month of May, as we will also be displaying the MitiGator Cushioning System on May 17th – May 19th at the 2011 Special Operations Forces Industry Conference in Tampa, Florida. The same weekend we will be also be at the 2nd annual Michigan Defense Industrial Base Expo in Warren, Michigan.

MitiGatorinc.com begins NOCSAE helmet testing

It took planning, and it wasn’t without its fair share of hiccups but earlier this week MitiGatorinc.com was able to setup its CADEX drop tester to start testing helmets equipped with the MitiGator Cushioning System. The National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment  (NOCSAE) has very high standards for helmet testing. One of which is they require for helmet testing that the drop tester be able to measure on three axises, instead of the standard Uni-axial like normal machines.

The CADEX drop tester will perform this and measure impact forces that are occurring on helmets that have not been equipped with the MitiGator Cushioning System and then we will document the results. Then we will be able to show you how the MitiGator Cushioning System will be able to help absorb the impacts and vibrations that typical sports helmet foam isn’t able to. The MitiGator is designed to absorb and dissipate the energy from these extreme impacts that typical football, baseball, hockey, and auto racing athletes experience. This revolutionary material has already been proven by being in service in over 85,000 military vehicles and numerous other extreme applications.

Another MitiGator Testimony With Great Results

Last week we posted a blog talking about MitiGator for marine applications. We mentioned that we have outfitted the MitiGator Powerboat with the MitiGator Cushioning System, but one thing we wanted to stress was you didn’t have to have a powerboat to experience the results that MitiGator can give you.

The charter's seats that had been outfitted with the MitiGator Cushioning System

Well today we received even more proof of this from our friends at Premier Performance Interiors in Florida. They had recently outfitted a offshore charter boat with the MitiGator Cushioning System and the owner of the boat decided to write us after one trip out on the water. Here’s his letter below:

Thank you for the quick work getting the new helm cushions made and sent to me. Ran it today in good chop ~25mph winds and the ride with Mitigator is very impressive. I will have a better feel in the next few weeks as I plan to fish quite a bit in Louisiana during April, but really expect it to be the ticket to running the heavier stuff.

This is just more proof that MitiGator can make a difference in any application. MitiGator is designed to absorb and dissipate the energy from vibrations and impacts away from the user. So in this man’s case he was experiencing some pretty rough waves due to the 25 mph wind, the MitiGator absorbed the impacts that waves were producing so that his body didn’t have to experience the impacts. For more information on the MitiGator feel free to read about it on our site, or if you have any questions send me an email at MediaRelations@MitiGatorinc.com.

MitiGator For Marine Applications

Last week you may of seen that we wrote a blog about the 21st Annual New York Super Boat Grand Prix. It will be held on September 10th to honor the victims of the September 11th attacks. The MitiGator powerboat will be in attendance and is always a threat to take home the victory at the off-shore events.

The MitiGator powerboat has been outfitted with the MitiGator cushioning system to provide the driver and throttleman with a comfortable and extremely safe ride. The powerboat will encounter extremely rough waves and depending on the swell of water that it hits can sometimes leave the water by over 10 feet. The MitiGator cushioning system is built into the seats to absorb the impacts and vibrations that these waves can produce.

But what if you aren’t racing a powerboat? What if you just own a bass boat or a pontoon boat, should you take a look at the MitiGator Cushioning system? In short…Absolutely! Normal seats are made with typical seat foam. Foam is just designed to absorb, it feels good when you sit on it, but as soon as you hit a big wave, or experience any type of vibration the foam isn’t designed to handle that. This can lead to common symptoms like lower-back pain. The MitiGator is designed to absorb, but then it is also designed to dissipate the energy from the impacts away from the user.

We have a long history in boating applications, you can see some of the boats that have been equipped with MitiGator by checking out our friends Premier Performance Interiors webpage. They have seen and experienced the results of the MitiGator firsthand, and have been installing MitiGator in boats for quite sometime. If you have any questions about equipping your boat seats with MitiGator make sure you send us an email at MediaRelations@MitiGatorinc.com

OPA and SBI to join forces to honor September 11th Victims at the 21st Annual New York Super Boat Grand Prix

The 21st annual New York Super Boat Grand Prix might be the biggest Superboat race ever.

2011 will mark the tenth anniversary for the tragic September 11th attacks that we all remember. The offshore powerboat association will be joining forces with Super Boat International for one event in 2011. The event will be held on September 10th on the Hudson River. What makes this particular race exciting is the fact that the event will start  at the Statue of Liberty. With the merger of the two series for this event, it has the potential to be one of the biggest events ever.

Baring any bad luck throughout 2011, the MitiGator powerboat will be at this event to honor the 2001 victims and families. Last year MitiGatorinc.com honored the victims with a special paint scheme on the MitiGator Ford Fusion that raced at Bristol Motor Speedway.

The MitiGator powerboat has been outfitted with the MitiGator cushioning system to protect driver Warren Miller from the rough impacts that the waves of the sea can create. This is the same cushioning system that has been outfitted in over 85,000 Military vehicles to protect troops around the world from mine blasts and IED explosions.
